WAYNE RADFORD
EXPOSE THE EMOTION
Wayne's photography from his early years is as relevant, compelling and timeless as his current work. Shooting 90% of his work in black and white, many of Wayne's portraits can be hung in anyones house as wall decor. You don't have to know the subject.
Wayne's exposure is always exactly correct, lighting is exemplary and he is the consummate professional. Wayne's imagery is stunning in its detail, his observations of human nature can be found in his images. He uses light to expose the emotion underneath, often undetected by the human eye.
Wayne will be teaching the way you can look for the emotion and use light to bring it out in your work. His techniques will help you have clients returning to you regularly for family portraits while launching you into your own natural style of photography.
ROB HEYMAN
AN HOUR BEFORE SUNSET
Rob will be talking about family portraiture this year. How to build up a family portrait and then relax it into our own Aussie style. How does he make families look so relaxed, as though he has just caught them out on a family walk or picnic.
Rob's techniques bring a total freshness in his ability to capture characters. He will teach how to achieve the flow between the light, the landscape and the family to create portraiture as human landscapes, breaking it down into bites of information you can easily repeat on your family sessions.
Photographers who attend Rob's workshops say they look for the 'Heyman Light' when shooting outdoors. Heyman light is his 'not so secret' strategy for success. Rob now photographs the grandchildren of his wedding and portrait clients from 30 years ago. Rob will also be covering some business points and professionalism.
